      Agilent Cary 5000 is a high performance spectrophotometer with excellent photometric performance in the 175-3300 nm range. The user can extend the wavelength range to 3300 nm by using a PbSmart detector, making the Agilent Cary 5000 a powerful spectrophotometer for research in materials science. The Cary WinUV software makes it easy to perform powerful analysis and control optional accessories. The user can also expand the large sample compartment to hold large accessories and integration spheres for spectral and diffuse reflectance. The LockDown mechanism of the Agilent Cary 5000 makes it possible to change and position accessories easily.

      • The Agilent Cary 5000 features a wide wavelength range, enabling the users to measure within 175 - 3300 nm. In addition, the Agilent Cary 5000 allows the users to measure beyond 8.0 absorbance units with reference beam attenuation.

      Agilent Cary 5000 compared to other instruments

      Even though the Agilent Cary 5000 UV-Vis maintains some features of older Agilent instruments, it is still a major upgrade from previous models. The Agilent Cary 5000 (175-3300 nm) features a wider wavelength range than the Agilent Cary 4000 (175-900 nm).

      The Agilent Cary 5000 UV-Vis is not only a huge upgrade from previous Agilent instruments, as it also beats its competitors on several parameters. The Agilent Cary 5000 also features a wider wavelength range than both Analytik Jena Spekol 2000 UV-Vis (190-1100 nm) and Jenway 6850 (190-1100 nm).
