Features of the UV-2600 include:

Fast data collection

  • The Agilent Cary 60 UV-Vis features exceptionally fast data collection. With a maximum scan rate of 24.000 nm/min, the user can scan the entire wavelength range (190-1100 nm) in under 3 seconds.

Low cost of ownership

  • The Agilent Cary 60 UV-Vis has a low cost of ownership. With an exceptionally long lifetime of 3 billion flashes, the xenon source lamp typically lasts 10 years.

Cary WinUV software

  • The Agilent Cary 60 UV-Vis comes with a WinUV software that can be tailored in order to suit the user’s analytical requirements.

Agilent Cary 60 with fast data collection

The Agilent Cary 60 UV-Vis features exceptionally fast data collection. With a maximum scan rate of 24.000 nm/min, the user can scan the entire wavelength range (190-1100 nm) in under 3 seconds. With fast data collection, the user can therefore get more work done in less time. Fast scan is ideal for tracking chemical reactions in a short time, and this feature therefore allows the user to perform rapid measurements for analyzing the process of sample changes in chemical reactions, due to the fact that the instrument can collect 80 data points/sec. Therefore, more detailed behaviour can be investigated with the Agilent Cary 60 UV-Vis.

Agilent Cary 60 compared to other instruments

Even though the Agilent Cary 60 UV-Vis maintains some features of older Agilent instruments, it is still a major upgrade from previous models. The Agilent Cary 60 UV-Vis is much faster than the Agilent Cary 50 UV-Vis.

The Agilent Cary 60 UV-Vis is not only an upgrade from previous Agilent instruments, as it also beats its competitors on several parameters. The Agilent Cary 60 UV-Vis is faster than the Biochrom Libra S35PC UV/Vis, and more accurate than the Persee T8DCS UV-Vis.

The features of Aglient Cary 60 compared to other instruments includes:

Agilent Cary 60 versus Biochrom Libra S35PC UV-Vis

  • The Agilent Cary 60 UV-Vis is faster than the Biochrom Libra S35PC UV-Vis.

Agilent Cary 60 versus Persee T8DCS UV-Vis

  • The Agilent Cary 60 UV-Vis is more accurate than the Persee T8DCS UV-Vis.

    Agilent Cary 60 with NanoCuvette™ One, SpectroLink™, and SpectroWorks™

The NanoCuvette™ One is a cuvette that can be used for measuring both refractive index and absorbance using a spectrophotometer.

The Agilent Cary 60 features a 20 mm beam height and a minimum spectral bandwidth of 1.5 nm, making the instrument compatible with our NanoCuvette™ One.

Compatibility of Agilent Cary 60 with cphnano products:

With our NanoCuvette™ One your Agilent Cary 60 will be able to measure 2 mL / 0.5 µL samples via refractive index for QC and kinetics. You can find a recording here showing how to perform a measurement with NanoCuvette™ One

In addition to NanoCuvette™ One, you can use SpectroLink™ for simplifying your spectrophotometer workflow to a three step process allowing you to quickly acquire, analyze and extract results. In this way, you don't have to waste more time on trouble with file formats, data transfer or sharing results.
