The instrument has five operating modes, including: spectrum, kinetics, photometrics, multi-wavelength and quantitation. The Jenway 6405 is ideal for routine teaching, laboratory and research environments.    ![PHOT_20220618_Spectrophotometers_Jenway_6405](https://knowledge.cphnano.com/hs-fs/hubfs/PHOT_20220618_Spectrophotometers_Jenway_6405.jpg?width=501&name=PHOT_20220618_Spectrophotometers_Jenway_6405.jpg) Features of the Jenway 6405 UV/Vis include: **Sample flexibility** - A key feature of the Jenway 6405 is the sample flexibility, where cells from 100 mm path length down to micro sample capacity can be accommodated.  **Wide range of accessories** - To further increase the flexibility, the Jenway 6405 UV/Vis is compatible with a broad range of optional accessories. **Broad wavelength range** - With a broad wavelength range, the Jenway 6405 enables the users to measure within both the UV and Vis regions.  ### Jenway 6405 with sample flexibility An important feature of the Jenway 6405 UV-Vis is the sample flexibility. The Jenway 6405 UV-Vis features a wider wavelength range than the Jenway 6400 Vis.  The Jenway 6405 UV-Vis is not only an upgrade from previous Jenway instruments, as it also beats its competitors on several parameters. The Jenway 6405 UV-Vis features a better wavelength accuracy than both Amersham Ultrospec 1100 Pro UV/Vis and Analytik Jena Spekol 1500 UV-Vis.    Features of the Jenway 6405 compared to other instruments include:   **Jenway 6405 versus Amersham Ultrospec 1100 Pro UV-Vis** - The Jenway 6405 UV-Vis features a better wavelength accuracy than Amersham Ultrospec 1100 Pro UV/Vis.  **Jenway 6405 versus Analytik Jena Spekol 1500 UV-Vis** - The Jenway 6405 UV-Vis features a better wavelength accuracy than Analytik Jena Spekol 1500 UV-Vis.  This information is meant for guidance only.
